Service Description

This class is tailored for dogs over twelve months old, introducing them to the exciting world of agility with confidence and enthusiasm. To participate, dogs must be friendly and comfortable working around both people and other dogs. This is an excellent way to build a bond with your dog and do something you both enjoy. The class teaches you and your dog build age-appropriate agility skills vital to agility success. Tight turns, including full weave skills or any obstacle where a dog could fall from a height, should not be attempted until growth plates are closed. This occurs earlier in smaller breeds, and large and giant breeds may take 18 months to 2 years to fully close. Mental age and confidence are also factors in how long and what to practice.
